Senior Registered EEG Technologist
What is your fondest memory in your 25 years working at Dartmouth-Hitchcock?
When I received an award for the Licensed Nurse Assistant (LNA) of the year in my department. I was astonished that they had chosen me. I knew that I always tried hard, did the best that I could, and received compliments from nurses I worked with, but I thought that I was just doing my job.
What about your job inspires you?
Ever since I was a little girl, I have always found that being able to help people in their time of need is not only humbling but also very rewarding.
Patients and their families come here every day due to poor health and are often at the most vulnerable times in their lives. The strength, courage and determination that these patients and their families have is so inspiring to me.
What do you like best about your department?
I have worked in Neurology for 11 years now and no two days are ever the same; you never know what the day will have in store for you. Each day is unique and that's what I enjoy the most about working in my department.
