Cory Barron

Information Systems User Support Specialist, Support Service Center

I joined the Army in 1997. I went through basic training/AIT in Fort Benning. I entered as an 11C and fast tracked through Airborne school. After school I was stationed at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii where I spent five wonderful years of service. With my GI bill, I was able to go to school for Computer Science and get my bachelors degree at Hawaii Pacific University.

What I retained from my military service that applies to my career here at DHMC is teamwork. Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.
