Jonathan Thyng, MD
Jonathan Thyng, MD is a family physician and Medical Director of D-H Nashua.
Jonathan served in the US Army from 1984-1996, leaving active duty as a major. Thyng served in Virginia, Friedberg and Wurzburg, Germany, was deployed with the 21st Evac Hospital to the Persian Gulf during Operation Desert Storm and with the 67th Combat Support Hospital to the Balkans during Operation Joint Endeavor (Bosnia).
"The Army provided me with great clinical and leadership training. My first assignment after residency was working in the ER of a field hospital during Desert Storm. I learned a lot quickly! The Army also taught me about the importance of working as a team. These skills continue to help me to this day here at Dartmouth Hitchcock."
