Michelle A. Gama, BA, RDCS
Echo Tech Lead
What is your fondest memory from your 25 years working at Dartmouth-Hitchcock?
I had a teenage patient who had just undergone a heart transplant. The absolute joy coming from the patient and his family when he came for his first echo after the procedure was uplifting and inspiring. The gratitude they showed was humbling. I was so proud to be part of the care team.
What inspires you?
The ability to do something that matters to people, both the patients and the providers, is my inspiration.
What do you like best about your department?
The best things about working in my department are my colleagues! I'm lucky to be able to work with people whose company I truly enjoy.
How has COVID-19 affected your work?
My thought on COVID-19 is that it's made me a more kind and compassionate human being, and I see that in those around me as well.
