Rhett Ulric Canete
Medical Assistant, Occupational Medicine, DHMC
Serving in the Army National Guard was a great experience. I was able to help others, and that’s important to me. I am proud to have served and protected the U.S.
My service in the military influenced my work at D-H because the feeling I got helping others inspired me to go into the medical field. When serving, I saw children who struggled to have food on their table, and it was heart breaking. In my role, I was able to help them. Seeing people happy after helping them gives me a boost of confidence.
I am fortunate to work at D-H. I've worked here for three years, and I am still happy working and helping others.
