Taking Care In This Section

Sarah Johnson

Case Manager, Office of Care Management

I served for eight years in the US Army Nurse Corps. I began my career in the ROTC program at the University of Vermont. I graduated in 1993 and was commissioned as a 2LT in the Army Nurse Corp. I attended Officer Basic Training at Fort Sam Houston in Texas. Following this, I did my first assignment at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Colorado. Next I attended a four-month OB/GYN Nurse Specialty Course at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI. Following this, my next assignment was at Fort Lennar Wood, MO.

Following my Active Duty military duty, I joined the 405th Combat Support Hospital in Chester, VT. Here I did one weekend every month and two weeks in the summer training. During this time, I also got a job as a nurse at Dartmouth-Hitchcock.
