Public Health Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, Community Health Improvement
I served six years of active duty from 1981-1987. During that time I got to see countries and places I never thought I would ever visit. Looking back on my service gives me a sense of pride that I did something for my country that many before and after me have undertaken. I am proud to be a veteran of the United States Navy.
My military service has influenced my life and work by giving me the ability to work calmly under pressure. It has given me the ability to solve problems and issues using a well thought out process.
