Workability Program

The Workability Program at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (Lebanon) facilitates optimal, cost-effective care to the injured worker as part of a collaborative team that includes the workers, employer, adjustor, case manager, and provider. We strive to maintain or restore injured workers' function to safely enable them to stay at work or return in a timely fashion.

Our services

  • Enhancing communication among employees, their supervisors and insurance carriers, and human resources during and after a work-related injury
  • Coordinating and monitoring appropriate transitional employment/alternate duty
  • Providing education and assistance regarding the disability management process to managers and supervisors
