Our mission is to create a loving and nurturing environment respectful of all children and their families, where children can master the developmental tasks of early childhood at their own pace and in their own unique way.
DHMC Child Care Center is committed to providing a warm, supportive and stimulating environment, focusing on the individual needs of each child and their family. We strive to create a hands-on environment enriched with materials that support a play-based curriculum. Children learn and develop through observation and interaction with people and the environment. The stability and quality of early attachments are key factors in brain development; our center is an environment set up for minimal child transition with multi-age, primary caregiver groupings. The indoor and outdoor environments provide opportunities for children to experience a wide range of activities that promote social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth.
