Nurse Practitioner Hillary Way Received First COVID-19 Vaccination at DHMC

Hilary Way receives vaccine

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Nurse Practitioner Hillary Way (right) receives the first COVID-19 vaccination at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) on Thursday, December 17, 2020. Way, who has been caring for COVID-19 patients in DHMC’s Medical Intensive Care Unit throughout the pandemic, received the initial vaccination from Occupational Medicine Nurse Lisa Brown (left). DHMC will vaccinate approximately 60 high-risk health care staff today, as part of the total 885 doses of the Pfizer vaccine DHMC received in this first phase of vaccine distribution by the state of New Hampsire. Vaccination clinics for those high-risk prioritized care providers will run through next week.
